    It's for HTSHemott Training School - HTS, majorly conducts trainings on Embedded Systems Software Design. This could be used for designing Safety Critical Systems, Pipelines Monitoring Systems, Home Security Systems as well as Traffic Control Systems. 

    Courses are run on a module by module basis for a duration of four weeks per module and assignments are given for two weeks at the end of each module.

    • Embedded Systems 

      Embedded Systems comprises of between 20 to 50 percent of the production cost of Automobiles, Aeroplanes, Space Shuttles even hand-held devices. However, with advent of the Internet, the world has moved from the physical to mobile networks thereby making networking easier and seamless.

      All basic steps in ensuring engineering designs are tracked from beginning stage to implementation also apply in Embedded Systems Software Designs. 

      However, loading of the Micro Controller for Firmware Integration is not the same as for Enterprise Applications like Banking Softwares or E-commerce Websites.

      Each course or module runs for a maximum of four weeks, I.e. Mondays to Fridays. Assignments shall be given at the end of each module and must be submitted after two weeks for assessment.

      A pass score of 50 percent is required for award of certificate.

      Basic requirement for each Course is five o-level credits in:

      Mathematics 

      English Language 

      Physics

      Chemistry 

      Computer

 PIR, Passive Infra-red Radar can be used as a security device to detect movement of humans based on their temperature difference. It can cover a minimum distance of 10m depending on the manufacturer.

For this course, we shall  be using the Arduino Development Environment.

Embedded Systems Software Design is the prerequisite for PIR. In this course, we shall be learning how to program an Arduino board. Basic knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Language such as C++ or JAVA is required.

JAVA Programming Language using NETBEANS 8.2 is for those who are interested in web as well as enterprise software development. It is object oriented programming language, easy to learn and open sourced.
